Boating for all in the magnificent setting of Loch Leven
Boating on Loch Leven since 1972
Glencoe Boat Club was founded in 1972 to encourage boating on Loch Leven. Our club has evolved and now supports all aquatic sports. We can be found nestled in the historic mountains of Glencoe. Glencoe Boat Club is a thriving club for locals and visitors alike, who enjoy sailing, boating, rowing, paddling, diving and fishing.
New members welcome
We welcome new members who want to enjoy the same as us, to have fun on the water.
There are terrific facilities here for you if you own a boat, board, kayak or canoe. We also have a club skiff, which was handbuilt by a member and is free for all members to use. If you are a novice or have no experience at all, don’t worry, as the club has a wealth of experienced members who offer to help our newcomers. Join us and try something new!
Member and volunteer run, we encourage members to join in our social and community events throughout the year. We aim to help and encourage many more people to enjoy the wellbeing benefits of being on and in the water.
Being on the water in the sheltered waters of Loch Leven with its magnificent mountain backdrop is a truly wonderful experience. You can see the mountains from a totally different perspective, boating on Loch Leven!
Visitors welcome
Visitors are welcome. Whether you come by water, road or walk in, access is simple and you can also come by sea!
With parking, visitor moorings, a fully equipped kitchen, and hot showers, we are a popular choice for sailing the West Coast of Scotland. We welcome many visitors throughout the year who want to discover Glencoe. We kindly ask visitors to make a donation to our club in return.
Please see our Membership section for details of our facilities.
Throughout the year we have Social Events and Open Days, so please check our Website Calendar or News section for details.
We are an RYA Scotland affiliated club.
